Southern Plains Energy Services, based out of Perry, Oklahoma, was established in 2014 to provide the best quality service in the oil and gas industry. We strive to go above and beyond the call of duty.
Safety is one of the most important aspects to Southern Plains, along with the correct procedures to follow in day-to-day operations. All new and current employees will have gone through our safety program. This program covers information needed to run a safe environment on location.
In addition, we have developed a course that is new to this industry. This course is dedicated to workover-rig-safety operations and procedures. The JSA sheet will be filled out and gone over at the start of each shift during the tailgate meeting. The Rig Inspection Checklist is completed daily and turned into a Southern Plains supervisor, so he/she can address any issues. A monthly rig audit will be done and set to your safety coordinator. This is a thorough rig inspection done by our safety coordinator.
